Compliance Auditing

Managers and corporate executives ask, "Is my facility in compliance?" WCE can perform environmental compliance audits to assess the compliance status of facilities and identify potential areas of non-compliance. Audits are also useful prior to purchasing a facility to determine potential liability. WCE has performed numerous audits of a wide variety of industrial operations and can work with your staff to develop a customized scope ranging from reviews of selected regulatory areas to comprehensive multi-media (air, water, waste) audits.

Environmental Management System (EMS)
A strong Environment Management System (EMS) is an essential tool in ensuring environmental compliance. This includes identification of responsibilities, plan preparation and maintenance, compliance monitoring (inspections, production tracking, emission monitoring) and agency interaction (permit renewals, reporting, agency notification). WCE can work with you to develop and implement an EMS that meets your needs. We have developed a number of systems with varied elements including hard copy manuals, on-line systems, and databases to track relevant information and meet regulatory requirements.
